The Secret Controversy

The Secret
There has been quite a stir about The Secret.

First it was positive and now the media is is
trying to make The Secret out as something to fear.

Is it as simple as Ask,
Believe, and Receive?

It is the Intending that brings about the change. If we truly believe that we can do something,
there is a better chance, we can.

If you tell a child, you can be anything you want to be. Then that child will have so many choices,
who knows what he or she can become.

Tell that same child, you are not smart enough, rich
enough, creative enough, lucky enough You
have taken the wind out of the sails before the ship left the dock.

I choose to believe that I have control over my energy
field. I have control over what I
project out to the world.

I can.

We can.

Risk

I Think I Can! I Think I Can!

Remember the Engine That Thought It Could?

I had the pleasure of seeing the A380 (Air Bus) last week in Los Angeles…on its maiden voyage from Toulouse, France.  It is an amazing plane with 300 miles of wires inside and a wingspan the size of a
football field.  AND yes… it can actually fly.

The A380 is a bit longer than the infamous Hercules H-4, a.k.a. the "Spruce Goose" built of wood by Howard Hughes which flew once, but fly it did …in 1947.

Some more statistics for the A380…á

  • The A380 can carry up to 853 passengers!
  • The A380 has 50% more space and 35% more
    seats than a 747.
  • The A380 is the most environmentally friendly
airliner ever built, burning just 2.9 litres of fuel per 100km for every
passenger. (Thats 24 litres per km if the plane is fully loaded!)
  • The maximum takeoff weight of the A380 is 560
    tons.
  • The A380 can fly for about 20 hours on a full
    tank of fuel.
  • á An A380 costs around $300 million (US
dollars). Airbus have so far sold 166 to 16 different airlines.

Your Limits?

Human kinds ingenuity appears to have no limits…

Look at what our grandparents have seen in their life times…

Now, think about everything that we will see in our lifetimes…

The speed is turned up…  the volume is turned up…

Now its time to tap into your creative energies…

Blog?

Friday, March 23rd, 2007

I thought it might be helpful
to explain what I have learned so far about blogsÉ

Blog is a noun which comes
from contracting Òweb logÓ.

When I write a post like this
one it goes to the top of the front page. As it gets older and as I add more
current posts it begins its journey down the page until it disappears from it.

But this is not the end of
itÉ it goes into the ÔArchivesÕ of my blogÉ

This is just like a filing
cabinet that is easily accessible. There
is an Archive button on the left of the page.

See how easy?

A blog is not a monologue but
a conversation. You can give me feedback on everything I write simply by
clicking the ÔcommentsÕ link at the bottom of each one of my posts.

This will take you to a
little form where you leave your name, email and a link to your own blog if you
have one as well as your feedback, comment or question, on why you love my
blogÉ. etc.

Try it now. Scroll to the
bottom of this page, click ÔcommentsÕ and fill in the blanks with a little
introduction to yourself.

In the meantime, here is a
fun site for blog terminology:

Change-does it really impact me?

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

Sometimes we wonder if we can really change…

It may be time to look at that question from a different perspective.

Can I avoid changing?

You may be making more changes than you give yourself credit for…

Take a look at this inspiring video:

Reflect on "Energy flows where your attention goes…"  It may be a matter of faith concerning the belief that negative thought attracts "bad" into out lives.

Positive thought attracts good.
Could it be that simple. When we really look at our habitual thought
patterns, what percentage of the day is set on "negative"…my bills,
my relationships, my health, my kids, my boss, my trouble.

Taking small steps to replace the negative with the positive could be your first step improving what you attract into your life.

The recent movie "The Secret" does a great job explaining this issue. Follow this link:
